The Forerunner Exotic Pistol, available through the new Magnum Opus quest dedicated to the Halo universe. It's a first-of-its-kind specialty weapon with a scope that, despite its characteristics, is not a sniper rifle. It was added in honor of Bungie's 30th anniversary.
This kinetic weapon uses special ammo and has a built-in “Full Stop” property that makes it larger than normal pistols, has maximum range, and uses special ammo. The weapon fires fully automatically with increased rate of fire and does increased damage on stationary targets.
